Join the LWVBC Outreach table at Longmont‘s annual Cinco de Mayo celebration! We will provide information about LWVBC, and provide voting resources to community members in the heart of Longmont at Roosevelt Park.
The Unite+Rise Team meets every 2 weeks at 4pm Monday on zoom. Our purpose is to amplify LWVUS messages on the Constitutional crises. In practice, we aim to support the Voter Services activities and the functions of Action and Advocacy.

Martin Carcasson of CSU‘s Center for Public Deliberation will discuss the power of conversation to de-escalate, connect, and promote a healthy American democracy.
Mr. Montoya will discuss Initiatives #109 and 110 and how we can support the right of Colorado‘s families to make private, personal decisions and care for their children without government interference. He will also review plans to keep politicians out of the lives of our families going forward.
Join Esther Turcios, and Shana McClain from the Colorado Fiscal Institute to discuss the economic impacts of H.R. 1 on women and families and how its changes limit women‘s economic security and ability to thrive

Shelley Sella, MD is a board-certified OB-GYN and the first woman to practice third-trimester abortion care in the US.
Her first book, Beyond Limits: Stories of Third-Trimester Abortion Care, is a tribute to the real people whose hearts, reasons, and stories are more complex than politicized conversations about abortion lead us to believe.
