Voter Service Team Activities
Our Voter Service Team registers voters, researches the ballot issues, and holds public candidate forums
Voter Information and Registration Tables: Trained LWV volunteers register voters, distribute brochures and answer questions regarding registration, election matters and League programs at farmer's markets and other public venues.
You can register online, check your registration, and find all sorts of voting information on the Colorado Secretary of State's website.
Ballot Issues (for Boulder County & its municipalities): Volunteers research, write and publish information to assist voters in understanding the objectives and pros vs. cons of ballot issues. They also deliver neutral presentations about the ballot proposals in public meetings. Our ballot issues presentations are available on the LWVBC YouTube channel.
Candidate Forums: The LWVBC organizes public forums where candidates for elective office are invited to speak and answer questions posed by the audience through a moderator. Watch videos of our candidate forums on the LWVBC YouTube Channel.
VOTE411: This LWV service assists voters in assessing candidates and ballot proposals prior to each general election, We submit questions to Boulder County candidates and they post their responses at VOTE411.org, along with our research on Boulder County ballot issues.
