Our Focus

The Schools Team researches educational issues of interest to the League membership. This includes, but is not limited to, the Boulder Valley School District and the St. Vrain Valley School District, the two districts in Boulder County.

Join Our Team

Like all LWV Issue Teams we welcome new members. If you would like to join us contact the LWVBC operations coordinator: admin@lwvbc.org. You don't have to be an expert. You do not have to be a League member to attend one of our team meetings and learn more.

Our Work

• We analyze the school districts' ballot proposals and publish a compilation of arguments for and against, to enable voters to decide.
• We invite guest speakers.
• We conduct studies.
• We assist the Voter Service Team with candidate forums before school board elections.
