Your Holiday Gift to LWVBC!

As you prepare for your holidays, please remember that your end-of-year donation to LWVBC is essential in helping us meet our education and legislative action goals for the new year. Although we are thrilled to have raised over $8000 from our generous Election Sponsors, we still need to raise $17,000 by July 1 to meet our fiscal year’s budget of $60,000.

Your monthly donation of $20 or annual gift willmake a huge difference to LWVBC’s success this year. You can donate here or mail a check to LWVBC, P.O. Box 21274, Boulder, CO 80308.

If you are over 70 and 1/2, you can easily designate LWVBC to receive all or a portion of your Required Minimum Distribution from an IRA or retirement account. Simply ask your financial agent to make the transaction.

Signing up for King Sooper’s or Safeway’s Community Rewards gives the league a steady, automatic base of regular income in December and throughout the year.

To access the King Sooper’s Community Reward program, go to their website, create a digital account, link your shopper’s card toyour account and identify the League of Women Voters of Boulder County (KS # FQ065) as your designated nonprofit to receive a percentage of each of your transactions.

Safeway has a Community Giving program. LWVBC is set up as a designated nonprofit with the program. You can get a card at the service desk, fill it with whatever amount you want for purchasing your groceries, and the LWVBC will receive up to 5 percent of your purchase price. You can refill the card regularly.
