How Do I Join?

It's easy!

By Mail: Just fill out a mail-in Membership Application

Online: Complete an Online Application. You can pay your dues online too -- see the Pay Online section below.

Membership at the local, state, and national League level is attained through local Leagues' membership applications.
Funds given directly to state Leagues or national League are treated as donations.

If you have any questions, contact us at league@lwvbc.org or 303-499-4544.

What are the Membership Dues?

  • Basic Individual ................................................................$60.00
  • Basic Household (two members at same address) ......... $90.00
  • Sustaining Individual .......................................................$120.00
  • Sustaining Household .....................................................$200.00

Sustaining memberships especially support our local League, LWVBC, as most of the basic membership dues support state and national League efforts.

From February 1 through May 3 we have a special offer for new members: Half the usual dues payment in any category provides membership until September 30th of the same year.  In September you would renew at the full rate in the membership category of your choice.

Pay Your Dues Online

Consult the list above to determine the level of membership you require and click the PayPal button below to pay your dues by credit card.

Note: After you click on the PayPal button, a screen will appear where you can enter the amount to be paid. PayPal labels this amount as a "donation." Enter the dues amount you are paying and then click the option to leave instructions for the "seller." Add a note that you are paying dues to join or renew your membership.

When we receive your payment, we will know that it is for member dues, either to RENEW your membership or JOIN the LWV.

LWV accounts for member dues and donations separately from non-member donations.

Who Are The Members?

Membership in the League of Women Voters, the most respected and effective grassroots organization in the country, is open to men and women of all ages.

Our members make a difference, some simply by supporting our efforts with their annual dues and some by making additional donations. Our most active members, who are able to donate additional time, also make a difference by serving as community leaders and using the League as their platform to create positive, lasting change in our communities.

All our members are appreciated!
